The Company is principally engaged in assembling and manufacturing of agricultural tractors, implements and multiapplication products. The Company is also involved in the sale, implementation and support of IFS applications in Pakistan.

Millat Tractors Limited (MTL): 3QFY22 Result Review – By Darson Research

• MTL announced their 3QFY22 results where the company posted a PAT of Rs 1.661bn in 3QFY22 (EPS: Rs 20.58/share) as compared to PAT of Rs 1.663bn (EPS: Rs 20.60 /share) in the SPLY. The company managed to retain their profitability despite higher cost of production which was due to higher commodity prices and the devaluation of PKR/USD.
  

• The revenues enhanced on YoY basis by 9% due to enhancement in prices despite decline in volumetric sales (10,389 vs 8,612 in 3QFY22).
  

• The company’s COGS increased by 10% YoY due to rising commodity prices and the devaluation of the local PKR.
